Urinary Tract Infection Service

UTIs are common in women and while they can be very uncomfortable, they are usually easy to treat, especially when diagnosed on time.

We're offering the NHS UTI Service in our pharmacy.

Most cases of UTIs require treatment which we will be able to offer without needing to see a GP.

Our pharmacists are fully qualified to advise on your treatment options based on your symptoms - which may include prescription medications.

UTI Symptoms include

- Pain or stinging sensation when passing urine

- Needing to pass urine suddenly

- Cloudy urine

- Passing small volumes of urine more frequently

- Having to get up in the middle of the night to pass urine

- Discomfort in your lower tummy

How does the service work?

The pharmacist consultation is provided by NHS England and is free of charge.
If you require antibiotics you will have to pay the standard NHS prescription charge of £9.65 or get them for free if you are entitled to free NHS prescriptions.

Is this suitable for you?

Before you can access the service, our pharmacist will discuss the eligibility criteria with you.
